Day Programs

Adult Habilitation Services

ENMRSH, Inc. provides adult habilitation, commonly called "adult hab", services to individuals that require assistance from trained staff supports in a variety of life skill areas. Adult hab promotes "Employment First" principles and implements "Meaningful Day" activities in both community-inclusive and traditional settings. Staff members are there to assist individuals to accomplish personal goals and address special needs in a diverse set of activities. Overall services are centered on each individual's interpersonal growth and sense of belonging in their community.

Each person in the program is treated as an individual and will be matched with staff members and peers that share similar interests. A typical day in adult hab may include visiting community destinations with friends, volunteering, getting prepared for work, attending recreation and leisure activities, performing physical fitness activities, working with therapists, and pursuing various hobbies. The possibilities are endless and can be modified or changed as interests evolve over time .

Community Access Services

ENMRSH, Inc. provides community access services in local community settings throughout the day, seven days a week. Services are scheduled at times in which the chosen activity(ies) are available for the individual and fit the person's unique life schedule. The purpose of this service is to promote independence and increase valued social roles for individuals that want to be more involved in community activities. People that participate in community access may become part of a group or achieve membership in an organization or club. ENMRSH services also provide opportunities to develop natural supports and to assume independent roles in community functions.

Community access activities for past participants have included volunteer activities, participating as part of the American Cancer Society Relay for Life team, joining hobby clubs (fan clubs, book clubs, garden clubs, and cooking clubs), being a member of higher learning classes at Clovis Community College, frequenting a fitness center or gym, attending faith-based classes and group activities, fostering established and new friendships through shared community events, and developing social networks that may lead to memberships and natural supports. Specific events are driven by individual choices.
