Human Resources Coordinator
Responsible for various human resources duties to include assisting with job advertisements; reviewing and screening received employment applications; conducting phone and in person interviews; conducting pre-employment activities; conducting new hire and rehire orientation and onboarding processes; and assisting with various retention and recruitment activities as assigned. Represents the agency in a professional manner at all times. Must demonstrate the following characteristics: good interpersonal skills to interact effectively and professionally with a wide range of people; excellent customer service with all internal and external customers; communicate effectively verbally and in writing to multiple levels of staff and stakeholders; understand the importance of urgency and accuracy; and be able to adapt to changing work conditions. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience in customer service field preferred but not required
- Experience with hiring, public speaking, and compliance
- Moderate experience with Microsoft Office programs preferred but not required
- High school diploma/GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to pass background screening
- Ability to pass drug screening
- Possess a working telephone
- Must be able to type with speed and accuracy
