Supported Employment Supervisor
Responsible for the development and oversight of the Individual Supported Employment program, which includes marketing, placement, communication with employers, task and job analysis, and provision and scheduling of job coaches. Must demonstrate the following characteristics: ability to work with and develop a professional relationship with individuals with disabilities; possess reasonable writing, communication, and teaching skills; relate to persons from different cultural, economic, and social backgrounds; be able to adapt to changing work conditions; provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers; demonstrate leadership and organizational skills; and represent the agency in a professional manner at all times.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Have a minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or related field, or have a degree in related field as a substitute for experience
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Proficient administrative skills.
- Possess a current and valid driver’s license.
- Reliable vehicle.
- Possess and maintain an excellent driving record.
- Receive clearance on an initial caregiver criminal history screening background check and any subsequent background checks that ENMRSH, Inc. deems necessary.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screening and other subsequent drug screenings the agency deems necessary.
- Possess a working telephone.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English well.
- Have minimal computer skills and be able to use a computer keyboard and mouse.
- Ability to drive a vehicle and transport clients in personal vehicle.
- Possess ability to train and support individuals and staff.
- Work flexible hours and assignments.
- Demonstrate patience.
- Must type with speed and accuracy and possess intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
- Coordinate several tasks at once and handle various situations in a calm and professional manner.
- Operate a multi-line phone, copier, fax machine, scanner, and various other office equipment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires handling paperwork with the use of hands, arms, and fingers; requires the use of fingers on a computer keyboard.
- Must be able to read and write legibly,
- Drive a car.
- Be able to balance, climb, bend, stoop, and kneel.
- Lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Walk, stand, and/or sit for eight hours per day.
