Community Living Supervisor
Job Type: Full Time
Location: Clovis NM
Supervise direct care staff and oversee residential sites for individuals with developmental disabilities (I/DD).
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience working with individuals with development disabilities preferred but not required
- 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma/GED
- One year experience working with I/DD or related field (degree in related field may substitute for experience)
- Possess a current and valid driver’s license, and proof of current auto insurance.
- Reliable vehicle
- Possess and maintain an excellent driving record
- Ability to pass a caregiver criminal history screening background check and any subsequent background checks that ENMRSH, Inc. deems necessary.
- Ability to pass drug screening
- Possess a working telephone
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English well.
- Have minimal computer skills and be able to use a computer keyboard and mouse.
- Ability to drive a vehicle and transport clients in personal vehicle.
- Possess ability to train and support individuals and staff.
- Work flexible hours and assignments.
- Demonstrate patience.
- Must type with speed and accuracy and possess intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
- Coordinate several tasks at once and handle various office situations including crisis situations in a calm and professional manner.
- Operate a multi-line phone, copier, fax machine, scanner, and various other office equipment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires handling paperwork with the use of hands, arms, and fingers.
- Requires the use of fingers on a computer keyboard.
- Must be able to read and write legibly.
- Must be able to drive a car.
- Be able to balance, climb, bend, stoop, and kneel.
- Lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Walk, stand, and/or sit for eight hours per day.
