Case Records Clerk (Early Childhood)
Perform variety of administrative duties in a busy office environment, to include daily entering, tracking, scanning and filing of all demographic enrollment data for early childhood services on a daily basis. Responsible for creating and maintaining confidential hard copy and digital case records and perform quality assurance & monitoring of documents following policies/procedures. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, have excellent organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office, & ability to meet deadlines.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED
- 18 years of age or older
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass background screening and/or obtain base clearance
- Ability to pass drug screening
- Possess a working telephone
- Reliable transportation
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English well.
- Coordinate several tasks at once and handle various office situations in a calm and professional manner.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and have excellent organizational skills.
- Operate a phone, copier, fax machine, scanner, laminator, and various other office equipment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to balance, climb, bend, stoop, reach, and kneel.
- Use of arms, hands, and fingers.
- Lift up to 25 lbs. frequently.
- Walk, stand, and/or sit for at least eight hours per day.
