Custodian
Perform a variety of janitorial tasks in offices, meeting rooms, hallways, and restroom of two large office buildings on the same property. Job duties include but are not limited to vacuuming; sweeping; mopping; dusting; clean, sanitize and restock restrooms; window cleaning; removes trash from buildings; and other tasks as assigned. Equipment and supplies provided.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 18 years of age or older
- Experience in custodial operations is preferred but not required
- Possess a valid driver’s license or ID
- Ability to pass background screening
- Ability to pass drug screening
- Possess a working telephone
- Reliable transportation
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English well
- Demonstrate patience
- Perform a variety of janitorial tasks
- Coordinate several tasks and handle various situations in a calm and professional manner
- Ability to work independently
- Must provide excellent customer service
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Have use of hands, arms, and fingers
- Must be able to read and write legibly
- Be able to balance, climb, bend, stoop, and kneel
- Lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally
- Walk, stand, and/or sit for eight hours per day
