Food Service Worker/Cashier (sub)
This position will mainly be for call-ins and replacement when someone takes leave. Guaranteed hours, Saturdays 8:00am-2:00pm
Ensures proper charges are collected, identifies authorized customers, ensures paperwork is accurate and complete. Follows sanitary requirements and assists with cleaning various areas of the dining facility. Responsible for assisting in meeting dining facility contract specifications through the performance of direct labor.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 18 years of age or older
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass background screening and/or obtain base clearance
- Ability to pass drug screening
- Possess a working telephone
- Knowledge and experience in food service, janitorial, and
storeroom (preferred, but not required) - Reliable transportation
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Duties involve a variety of tasks which expose the worker to a variety of hazardous conditions normally found in a kitchen/ restaurant work environment.
- Must be able to balance register accountability without defects or errors.
- Must be able to count money and provide correct change to the customer.
- Need to have the ability to program a point of sales system.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to tolerate use of a variety of chemicals.
- Able to tolerate heat, cold, dust, and other climate conditions.
- Must be able to walk/stand for up to four hours.
- Use of arms, hands, and fingers.
- Able to lift and carry 10 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Must be able to balance, bend, stoop, kneel, twist, pull, push, reach, and climb ladders for up to four hours.
- Strength, stamina, and dexterity requirements must be met for each position.
