Official Mail Center General Clerk I
Shift: Monday-Friday 9am-2pm
Responsible for the receiving & delivering of mail, packages, flats, letters, magazines & newspapers to the Squadron Route or the Kiosk. Must demonstrate the following characteristics: excellent customer service with all internal and external customers; communicate effectively verbally and in writing to multiple levels of staff and stakeholders; understand the importance of urgency and accuracy; and be able to adapt to changing work conditions.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED, or higher education with at least three years of work experience
- Stable work history
- Possess a REAL ID compliant valid driver’s license
- Pass an initial federal background check and subsequent annual recheck to maintain all employment at CAFB. Failure to maintain an active pass will result in your inability to access and work on CAFB, and pass any subsequent background checks that ENMRSH, Inc. deems necessary
- Ability to pass drug screening
- Possess a working telephone
- Have reliable personal transportation to the worksite
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English well
- Must be able to read, write, and collect data at a high school level
- Possess the ability to instruct others
- Follow schedules
- Demonstrate patience
- Coordinate several tasks at once and handle various office situations including crisis situations in a calm and professional manner
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to balance, climb, bend, stoop, reach, and kneel
- Have use of arms, hands, and fingers
- Lift up to 20 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally
- Walk, stand, and/or sit for at least eight hours per day
