Janitor

Job Type: Full Time
Location: Cannon AFB

Perform a wide variety of janitorial tasks using standard custodial equipment and cleaning products. 

Monday-Friday 10am to 6pm.

Diploma/GED not required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Must have immunizations and flu shot
  • Possess a valid driver’s license or identification card
  • Ability to pass background screening and/or obtain base clearance
  • Ability to pass drug screening
  • Possess a working telephone

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Performs a wide variety of custodial duties daily.
  • Contract is considered mission essential and work must be performed regardless of environmental conditions.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak at a junior high school level.
  • Demonstrate patience.
  • Coordinate several tasks and handle various situations in a calm and professional manner.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Requires the use of hands, arms, and fingers.
  • Ability to balance, climb, bend, stoop, and kneel.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. frequently.
  • Walk, stand, and/or sit for eight hours per day.
