Community Living Supervisor

Job Type: Full Time
Location: Clovis NM

Supervise direct care staff and oversee residential sites for individuals with developmental disabilities (I/DD).

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Previous experience working with individuals with development disabilities preferred but not required
  • 21 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • One year experience working with I/DD or related field (degree in related field may substitute for experience)
  • Possess a current and valid driver’s license, and proof of current auto insurance.
  • Reliable vehicle
  • Possess and maintain an excellent driving record
  • Ability to pass a caregiver criminal history screening background check and any subsequent background checks that ENMRSH, Inc. deems necessary.
  • Ability to pass drug screening
  • Possess a working telephone

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English well.
  • Have minimal computer skills and be able to use a computer keyboard and mouse.
  • Ability to drive a vehicle and transport clients in personal vehicle.
  • Possess ability to train and support individuals and staff.
  • Work flexible hours and assignments.
  • Demonstrate patience.
  • Must type with speed and accuracy and possess intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • Coordinate several tasks at once and handle various office situations including crisis situations in a calm and professional manner.
  • Operate a multi-line phone, copier, fax machine, scanner, and various other office equipment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Requires handling paperwork with the use of hands, arms, and fingers.
  • Requires the use of fingers on a computer keyboard.
  • Must be able to read and write legibly.
  • Must be able to drive a car.
  • Be able to balance, climb, bend, stoop, and kneel.
  • Lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Walk, stand, and/or sit for eight hours per day.
